In één oogopslag kan je de troeven van Aruba opsommen een heerlijk zonnig klimaat, hagelwitte stranden, helderblauw water, leuke hotels. Logisch dat je op dit ' One Happy Island ' goed zit voor een relaxvakantie.
Vanaf de airport is het een 10 min rijden naar Divi & Tamarijn. De check in ging vrij vlot en onze kamer was al klaar. We konden de auto dicht bij de kamer parkeren waarna we naar onze kamer liepen welke direct aan zee was. De kamer was ruim met een groot bed, tv, grote badkamer en een terrasje voor de kamer aan het strand. Nadat we gesetteld waren gingen we bij het zwembad wat eten, je kon er pizza’s en andere snacks verkrijgen welke allemaal bij het all inclusive pakket horen. Het hotel was goed gevuld met gasten en gezellig druk rond het zwembad. We namen wat te drinken waarna we besloten het strand te verkennen en het naastgelegen Divi hotel wat over het strand 5 min lopen is. Je kan overigens ook met een golfkarretje gebracht worden welke tussen de twee resorts hele dag een en weer rijden.
Als het op parelwitte stranden aankomt, spant Aruba de kroon. Aan een van die stranden liggen de ‘low rise’ resorts Divi & Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive. Welke van de 2 resorts je ook kiest hier word je elke dag met een glimlach wakker. Alleen al het moment dat je je balkon of terrasdeuren openslaat om de vroege zonnestralen op je gezicht te voelen. Wie wordt daar nou niet gelukkig van?
Bij het vroege ochtendwaken je rijker dan rijk voelen bij het zien van een witter dan wit strand en een zon die glinstert op zee? Een onweerstaanbaar uitzicht waar je alleen maar van kunt dromen.

Alle kamers zijn meer dan comfortabel, of je nu direct aan zee verblijft, aan het zwembad, je voelt je er al snel thuis. Kies je voor een kamer in het Tamarijn dan weet je zeker dat je front row zit. Echt elke kamer in dit resort, geen enkele uitgezonderd, heeft een ligging die is als ‘heaven on earth’.
Ook in het Divi Aruba zijn er oceaanfront kamers, waaronder een aantal suites die super ruim zijn. Overigens zijn hier de poolview en tuinkamers ook top. Echt niets te veel gezegd, want welke kamer je ook kiest, in het Divi & Tamarijn Aruba is je comfort gegarandeerd, inclusief het kopje koffie of thee om de dag te beginnen vanaf je eigen balkon of terras. Bestel ‘whenever U like’ een cocktail of een verfrissend drankje bij één van de vele bars. Er is er namelijk altijd wel één in de buurt, het zijn er 8! Tip: probeer ze allemaal uit, en voordat je het weet ben je verknocht aan die ene bar of die ene altijd vrolijke bartender. Trek in een hapje tussendoor, lekker eten in de koelte of aan zee? Het kan de hele dag door of het nu buffet of a la carte is, gewoon waar jij die dag en op dat moment zin in hebt. Je kan het zo gek niet bedenken of het is er. Wel 10 restaurants, waarvan 5 a la carte, variërend van Italiaans, Mexicaans, Aziatisch en internationaal. Op chique of heerlijk nagenieten van een heerlijke stranddag met een grilled beach burger, om maar wat te noemen, het kan allemaal. Elke dag een heerlijk verse smoothie? Hier wil je niet meer weg.

At a glance, you can sum up the assets of Aruba: a wonderfully sunny climate, snow-white beaches, clear blue water, nice hotels. It makes sense that you are in the right place for a relaxing holiday on this 'One Happy Island.
From the airport, it is a 10 min drive to Divi & Tamarijn. Check-in went pretty smoothly and our room was ready. We could park the car close to the room after which we walked to our room which was right on the beach with a beautiful view of the ocean. The room was spacious with a large bed, TV, large bathroom, and a terrace in front of the room on the beach.
After we had seen the room and relax a bit we went to the pool to have some snacks we had not had time to eat something at lunchtime so we were a bit hungry. At the pool, you could get pizzas and other snacks, all included in the all-inclusive package. The hotel was well stocked with guests and pleasantly busy around the pool. We had a drink and a snack and then decided to explore the beach and the Divi hotel next door.

All rooms are more than comfortable, whether you are staying right by the sea, by the pool, you will quickly feel at home. If you choose a room in the Tamarijn, you can be sure that you are sitting front row, at least if you want ' oceanfront '. Every room in this resort, with no exception, has a location that is like 'heaven on earth. Also at the Divi Aruba, there are oceanfront rooms, including several suites that are super spacious. Incidentally, the pool view and garden rooms are also top here. Nothing too much said, because whatever room you choose, at the Divi & Tamarijn Aruba your comfort is guaranteed, including a cup of coffee or tea to start the day from your balcony or terrace. Order 'whenever you like a cocktail or a refreshing drink at one of the many bars. There is always one nearby, there are 8! Tip: try them all, and before you know it you will be devoted to that one bar or that one always happy bartender because making friends is that easy here!
Fancy a snack in between, good food in the coolness or by the sea? It can be done throughout the day, whether it is a buffet or a la carte, just whatever you feel like that day and at that moment. You can not think of it as crazy or it is there. There are 10 restaurants, of which 5 a la carte, ranging from Italian, Mexican, Asian and international. A chic or wonderful afterglow of a wonderful beach day with a grilled beach burger, just to name a few, everything is possible. A deliciously fresh smoothie every day? You don't want to leave here.
