East Winds St Lucia One of St Lucia's first boutique resorts

East Winds St Lucia

A 1,5-hour drive from the airport through the amazing landscape, mountains, and ocean views bring you to East Winds St Lucia where we checked in at our luxury cottage in the middle of a beautiful garden. The first impressions are that the staff really know what they do, at the check-in our room was ready at 12:00 but if not we could enjoy lunch in the restaurant by the beach the lady told us. I have been in many hotels and they just let you wait because normally check-in will be at 14:00 or 15:00 at most hotels around the world. Here at East Winds St Lucia, they know how to make their customers happy and let you feel welcome the moment you step inside. We checked in and got a small property tour after we enjoys lunch at the restaurant at the beach. The lunch was great the food was so fresh and many choices, we even got a fresh coconut.

East Winds in Saint Lucia

East Winds in Saint Lucia had just 30 cottage-style suites where everything is included, from champagne to dinner. So you can: Relax on the beach, have a drink in the open-air lounge, wander through the lush gardens, mix a drink at the self-serve swim-up bar, set sail on a sunset cruise, try some watersports, workout on the fitness trail, treat yourself to a massage, and unwind with morning yoga. Nestling between luxuriant tropical gardens and the sparkling blue sea, an uncrowded beach and less interruption to your enjoyment of the indigenous bird song, the quiet murmuring of the sea, and the almost inaudible rustle of wind-rippled palms.

East Winds in Saint Lucia

Guests keep returning to this small all-inclusive resort on a secluded beach south of Rodney Bay; 12 acres of botanical gardens surround 30 cottages.

The East Winds is a well-run, resort, spread over a dozen acres of glorious tropical grounds. The hotel is much classier than the ‘all-inclusive’ tag might imply, offering elegant cottages and one of the best food and drinks you can get in St Lucia. East Winds, a boutique beachside resort is a hidden treasure on the island’s north-western coast, the atmosphere here is warm and intimate the very definition of laidback luxury. At first glance, East Winds isn’t what you’d picture when you think of an ‘all-inclusive’ resort in the Caribbean and that’s probably because they do things a bit differently here

Sunset East Winds

Overall:

We had an amazing stay in a lovely cottage room and enjoyed the food, the beach, and the lovely staff around. We did a sunset trip and saw amazing views around the island with such lovely colors in the ocean.

We stayed in 3 hotels during our trip to St Lucia and this hotel comes in the first place definitely.

Its easy access also if you are not a good walker its flat right on the beach with a beautiful garden

Sailing boat on the beach of East Winds St Lucia

In the magazine of the hotel I read somewhere the slogan "just do nothing or just do it all" I think that's what the small luxury hotel stands for, you can do so many activities like sailing the small sailing boats, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling or you just do nothing and hang around the pool or beach with a cocktail or a fresh coconut and get some tan.
