Het luxe Avila Beach Hotel is al ruim jaren een begrip op Curaçao een mooie mix van de klassieke sfeer van toen en het comfort van nu. De centraal gelegen locatie en twee privéstranden maken de ligging van het Avila Beach ideaal. Je vindt Avila in de hippe wijk Pietermaai. Het hotel beschikt over 2 baaien met hagelwitte privéstranden.
Geniet van een cocktail in de infinity pool terwijl de zon langzaam onder zakt en je mijmert dat we het nog zo slecht niet hebben dat luxe ook betaalbaar kan zijn.
Het Avila Beach Hotel ligt aan een prachtige baai het hotel heeft twee witte, zandstranden en een zwembad. Op het hotelterrein ligt ook nog een prachtig historisch gebouw, waarin een museum is gehuisvest. Het museum is erg populair als plaats voor huwelijksvoltrekkingen.
We sliepen op de pier dit zijn houten kamers met of uitzicht op Avila strand en de zee of uitzicht op de zee en Willemstad. Prachtige ruime kamers met een geweldig uitzicht waar we avonds nog lang aan het nagenieten waren op het terras van de mooie dag. Op de kamers is alles aanwezig wat je zou verwachten van een luxe hotel en wordt er gebruikt gemaakt van lux badkamer producten. De schoonmaak was netjes en schoon en de koffie werd elke dag aangevuld wat ik zo belangrijk vind als koffie freak.
Het winkelgebied Punda in het sfeervolle Willemstad ligt op loopafstand, hier vind je ook vele restaurantjes en natuurlijke de beroemde brug van Willemstad de pontjesbrug.
Curaçao een ‘paradijs’ in de Caribbean. Een eiland dat bij veel Nederlanders en toeristen uit Amerika, Duitsland super populair is. Niet alleen vanwege die turquoise zee, maar ook vanwege de vriendelijkheid van de locals, het lekkere eten en mooie hotels.
Als je bij Avila beach hotel verblijft hoef je niet ver te zoeken voor een restaurant. Het eigen restaurant staat goed aangeschreven en we hebben hier eigenlijk bijna alle avonden gegeten de service was snel en vriendelijk. Misschien dat je na een tijdje wat anders wil proberen dan kunnen we in het centrum van Willemstad de Gouverneur aanbevelen reserveer wel op tijd want dit restaurant zit bijna altijd vol.

The luxurious Avila Beach Hotel has been a famous name in Curaçao for many years, a nice mix of the classic atmosphere of the past and the comfort of today. The centrally located location and two private beaches make the Avila Beach location ideal. You will find Avila in the hip Pietermaai district. The hotel has two bays with a sandy white private beach.
Enjoy a cocktail in the infinity pool while the sun slowly sets and you think that we are not so bad at all and that luxury can also be affordable.
The Avila Beach Hotel is located on a beautiful bay, the hotel has two white, sandy beaches and a swimming pool. There is also a beautiful historic building on the hotel grounds, which houses a museum. The museum is very popular as a place for weddings.
We slept on the pier, these are wooden rooms with either a view of Avila beach and the sea or a view of the sea and Willemstad. Beautiful spacious rooms with a great view where we were enjoying the beautiful day on the terrace for a long time. The rooms have everything you would expect from a luxury hotel and luxury bathroom products are used. The cleaning was neat and clean and the coffee was replenished every day which is so important to me as a coffee freak.
The Punda shopping in the intimate atmosphere Willemstad is within walking distance, here you will also find many restaurants and of course the famous bridge of Willemstad the pontoon bridge.
Curaçao a 'paradise' in the Caribbean. An island that is super popular with many Dutch people and tourists from America, Germany. Not only because of the turquoise sea but also because of the friendliness of the locals, the good food and beautiful hotels.
If you stay at the Avila beach hotel you don't have to look far for a restaurant. The on-site restaurant is well regarded and we actually ate here almost all evenings, the service was fast and friendly. Maybe you want to try something different after a while, then we can recommend De Gouverneur in the center of Willemstad. Make sure to reserve on time because this restaurant is almost always full.
