Some come to surf, we come to watch the surf and there is no better place than right in front of our hotel at Long Beach Lodge, home away from home.

The Sleep
Whether you stay in one of the 41 Lodge rooms or the 20 Cottages you will enjoy the vibes on the beach or the cozy nights at Long Beach Lodge. We stayed in a cottage in the rainforest perfect for family or friends. Our cottage had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on 2 floors with a cozy fireplace in the living room. If you come home after a long day hiking or adventure sit relaxing to chill in the jacuzzi in the garden it's so peaceful in the rainforest.
The Snap
Step outside of Long Beach Resort and Cox Bay Beach is right in front of you. It doesn’t matter if the tide is low or high, on rainy days or sunny days there always seems to be people on the beach, and who can blame them? A morning walk as fog dances on the waves, an evening on the beach to watch the sunset with all the surfers, a hike in the forest, or go to sunset point when the water is low.
The Taste
After a long ride, the first thing I want to do is grab a table in Long Beach Lodges Great Room. One of the best views of Tofino and any restaurant I’ve ever visited. I would be happy just sitting in a chair drinking a local beer or wine while I watch the waves hitting the beach.
The Resort’s two main food & beverage facilities are the iconic and award-winning Great Room (restaurant & lounge) and the SandBar Bistro, Tofino’s ultimate beachside dining patio (open seasonally). The Resort’s Great Room, a sanctuary of warmth, comfort & inspired cuisine, is a central gathering place and the perfect spot to settle in to read a book, watch the daily surf activities, or storm watch. The Sandbar features fresh, locally sourced, upscale gastro-pub style food served in a casual yet spectacular setting with direct access to endless beaches
The Vibes
The view I wake up to on my first morning is spectacular. Blue in the Sky with fog dancing over the waves as the sun lands on the beach to warm us all up. They say if you don’t like the weather in Tofino, just wait a few minutes. In the evening we most of the time just walk up and down on the beach it's just amazing to see the sunset with all the surfers.
The Adventure
If you’ve come for adventure then you have come to the right place. The Long Beach Lodge Resort Surf Club Adventure Centre offers private and group surfing lessons, rental equipment, a sauna, fitness center, hot tub, outdoor seating, a gift shop, and a cafe. Or go for a marine adventure and hop on board for a marine wildlife tour, each customized to take full advantage of wildlife sightings and ocean conditions. This tour is an opportunity to explore and learn about the pristine marine environment. The boat seats 12 passengers in comfort within a heated cabin that includes full washroom facilities. Guests and non-guests are welcome to book these exciting adventures.

De Plaats

Tofino is een prachtige surfplek op Vancouver Island met veel activiteiten, Surfen, Walvissen, Beren, Rainforest, wandelingen en de herfst stormen zijn slechts enkele van de mogelijkheden die toeristen naar dit betoverde stukje Vancouver Island brengen. Sommigen komen om te surfen, wij komen om de surfers te bekijken en er is geen betere plek dan recht tegenover ons hotel in Long Beach Logde, home away from home. Tofino’s luxe resort.,dit resort ligt aan een spectaculair strand aan de baai van Cox en maakt optimaal gebruik van de ruige kustlijn en het uitgestrekte zandstrand. Surfclub Adventure Centre van het resort biedt het hele jaar door surf- en paddleboardlessen, verhuur van volledige surf- en paddleboarduitrusting, exclusieve Marine Adventures op de 12 pers verwarmde boot en luxe faciliteiten voor en na de activiteit, waaronder sauna ,buiten bubbelbad, koffiebar en cadeauwinkel.
Het Verblijf
Of u nu in een van de 41 Lodge-kamers of de 20 Cottages verblijft, u zult genieten van de sfeer op het strand of de gezellige nachten in Long Beach Lodge. We verbleven in een huisje in het regenwoud, perfect voor familie of vrienden. Ons huisje had 2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers 2 verdiepingen met een gezellige open haard in de woonkamer. Als je na een lange dag wandelen of avontuur thuiskomt, is het eerlijk ontspannend om te relaxen in de jacuzzi in de tuin, het is zo rustgevend in het regenwoud.
De Snap
Stap naar buiten en Cox Bay Beach ligt recht voor u. Het maakt niet uit of het tij laag of hoog is, regenachtige dagen of zonnige dagen, er lijken altijd mensen op het strand te zijn. Een ochtendwandeling terwijl mist op de golven danst, een avond op het strand om de zonsondergang met alle surfers te bekijken, een wandeling in het bos of naar het zonsondergangpunt gaan als het waterlaag is er zijn zoveel mooie dingen te zien op deze plek.
De smaak
Na een lange rit, wil ik als eerste een tafel pakken in Long Beach Lodges Great Room. Een van de beste uitzichten op Tofino en eigenlijk elk restaurant dat ik ooit heb bezocht. Ik zou graag gewoon in een stoel zitten terwijl ik een lokaal biertje of wijntje drink, terwijl ik de golven op het strand hoor slaan. De twee belangrijkste eet- en drinkgelegenheden van het resort zijn de iconische en bekroonde Great Room (restaurant & lounge) en de SandBar Bistro, de ultieme diner-patio aan het strand (seizoensgebonden geopend). De Great Room van het resort, een toevluchtsoord van warmte, comfort en geïnspireerde gerechten, is een centrale ontmoetingsplaats en de perfecte plek om te settelen om een boek te lezen, de dagelijkse surfactiviteiten te bekijken of storm te kijken. De Sandbar biedt vers, lokaal geproduceerde, luxe gastro-pub-achtige gerechten geserveerd in een informele maar spectaculaire omgeving met directe toegang tot eindeloze stranden.
De Vibes
Het uitzicht waarmee ik de eerste ochtend wakker word, is spectaculair. Blauw in de lucht met mist die over de golven danst terwijl de zon op het strand schijnt om ons op te warmen. Ze zeggen dat als je niet van het weer in Tofino houdt, je maar een paar minuten moet wachten. ‘s Avonds lopen we meestal gewoon op en neer op het strand. Het is gewoon geweldig om de zonsondergang met alle surfers te zien.
Het Avontuur

Of ga voor een mariene avontuur hop aan boord voor een mariene wildlife tour, elk op maat gemaakt om ten volle te profiteren van natuurobservaties en oceaanomstandigheden. Deze tour is een gelegenheid om het ongerepte marine milieu te verkennen en te leren over de unieke omgeving. De boot biedt plaats aan 12 passagiers in een verwarmde cabine met volledige wasruimte.
